"A Letter from Director of Admissions"
We are thrilled that you are exploring AMCA - The Academy, as a potential educational option. AMCA is more than a school; we are a community,
a family, a home-away-from home for our students, parents, faculty and staff.
While our first priority is a Christ centered excellent education, we believe that arts and community service are integral
components of a child's education. We view parents as partners and encourage involvement from our families in many ways.
We know that we become a better school and our students lead more balanced and healthy lives when we involve them in all
facets of the life of the school.
Our mission of educating the whole child is carried out each day by delivering our nationally competitive curriculum in a multi-sensory
way. Our students and teachers are connected, enthusiastic and engaged. By ministering to each child's individual learning style we
touch each facet of the creation that God made from academic, to spiritual, social, emotional and physical.
We encourage you to learn as much as possible about the richness of the AMCA experience.
You can learn a lot by coming and visiting at one of our Open Houses. But you can also discover what makes AMCA
so special by visiting a Chapel service, a science or art after school program, or one of our celebrated school performances
like our Christmas program or Dinner Theatre.
The more you observe our students achieving excellence in a warm, supportive, active, Christ-centered environment, the more
you will know that AMCA is a place where students work hard and play hard because they love what they do.
Come and see what God is up to at AMCA!
Enthusiastically Working Through Him,
Kimberly Sharpe
